Job Summary

• The Director is responsible for managing and leading the Department to meet the key performance indicators as specified by the Group’s strategic business plans.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

SPECIFIC (80%)

• Oversee all commercial activities in Indochina for Raffles Medical Indochina and Raffles Hospital Singapore.
• Develop annual branding, marketing and business plans that are in line with the corporate strategic objectives.
• Analyze market trends and Group’s data to identify business opportunities to develop new markets and/or services and to promote referrals and service utilization.
• Review and rationalize the current commercial teams and internal systems. Ensure smoother and more productive marketing operations in the following areas:

1. 1. Outbound medical tourism to Raffles Hospital Singapore
   2. Corporate Services
   3. Local and International Insurers and Medical Assistance Companies
   4. Regional Medical Tourism

• Oversees and approves the design, preparation and distribution of marketing collaterals, materials, etc.
• Plan, manage and evaluate Commercial budgets and performance. Ensure staffing is cost-effective and resources are optimally allocated. Oversee and approve the department’s marketing expenses.
• Ensure that the Group’s and Region’s policies and directives are effectively communicated to all staff, compliance is monitored, and corrective are taken when necessary.
• Organise systematic programs for staff training, development and performance management.

OTHERS (20%)

• Serves as a principal advisor on any matters relating to commercial activities in Indochina, including new market opportunities in Thailand and Myanmar.
• Promote teamwork, cooperation and harmonious relationships between commercial and other teams in Raffles Medical Indochina and Group.
• Undertakes any other responsibilities as directed by the General Manager Indochina and Chair Singapore Healthcare.

• As healthcare delivery can be 24/7/365 operations, in than e event of an emergency and/or mass casualty situations, it is vital for the critical functions to be sustained and even expanded. It is the personal responsibility of the senior management team to ensure that the safety and best interest of our patients are always given the utmost priority.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in any discipline with at least 15 years of relevant experience in a leadership role, preferably in the healthcare services industry.
• Good interpersonal skills, highly motivated and proven track record in achieving results.
• Possess excellent organisational skills. Able to travel frequently.
• Speak a minimum of 5 languages, including English, Chinese, Thai, Burmese, and French
