Raffles Medical, a leading integrated healthcare organisation in Asia, saw the completion of its hospital extension – Raffles Specialist Centre.
Raffles Medical Group (RMG), a leading integrated healthcare organisation in Asia, saw the completion of its hospital extension – Raffles Specialist Centre – in 2017. With the addition of this new 20-storey building, which spans across an area of 220,000 square feet, both Raffles Hospital and Raffles Specialist Centre now occupy a total gross floor area of 520,000 square feet.
The specialist centre will provide significant opportunities for the hospital to expand its range of specialist services, as well as healthcare training and clinical research. Inpatient facilities such as wards, intensive care units and operating theatres located at Raffles Hospital will also be upgraded and expanded.
As RMG continues to meet our growing patients’ needs, new specialists in the areas of medical oncology, paediatric medicine and neonatology were recruited. It now has a multi-disciplinary paediatric practice with sub-specialties in neonatology, dermatology, gastroenterology and nutrition, neurodevelopmental and behavioural paediatrics, and paediatric surgery at three locations in Singapore.
