Dr. Nguyen Thi Huyen is a compassionate and skilled ENT specialist with a deep passion for helping patients improve their quality of life—whether through restoring hearing, improving breathing, or treating complex head and neck conditions.
Her journey into otolaryngology began with a fascination for the intricate anatomy of the head and neck, and a desire to combine surgical precision with meaningful patient care. During her medical training, she was captivated by the diversity of ENT cases and the profound impact even minor interventions can have—especially in children.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Military Medical University (2014–2020) and continued her ENT residency at 103 Military Hospital and Hong Ngoc Hospital (2020–2023). These institutions shaped her clinical and surgical expertise through a wide range of cases, from common conditions to complex surgeries.
Her focus areas include:
- Sinusitis and endoscopic sinus surgery
- Hearing and balance disorders
- Obstructive sleep apnea
Dr. Huyen is especially interested in minimally invasive techniques that shorten recovery time and enhance patient outcomes. She is also actively engaged in emerging ENT trends such as robotic surgery, image-guided procedures, and hearing loss prevention.
A memorable case for Dr. Huyen involved a young boy with hearing loss and delayed speech. After a successful grommet insertion surgery, his ability to communicate and connect improved significantly—a reminder of how ENT care can transform lives.
At Raffles Medical, Dr. Huyen is dedicated to building a patient-centered ENT practice while also contributing to collaborative care, community education, and innovation. She is committed to growing with the Raffles team and making a lasting impact in both clinical care and public health.
Outside of work, she finds balance through hiking, cycling, and music—pursuits that nourish both body and mind.
