Dr. Trinh studied at the Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University, graduating in 1993. He went on to begin his practice at the Gia Dinh hospital in Binh Thanh, where he worked for five years in various departments\u2014including the ICU and the cardiology and endocrinology departments. At that time it was common practice to spread general practitioners throughout different hospital departments in order to expose them to continuous opportunities to grow\u2014a policy that allowed Dr. Trinh to pick up a great deal of medical knowledge from colleagues and professors.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Trinh moved into private practice in 1999, shifting to Columbia Hospital to treat international patients. At that facility\u2014the only international hospital in Ho Chi Minh City at the time\u2014Dr. Trinh worked with foreign doctors from many different countries, gaining experience not only in terms of medical practice but in different approaches to healthcare from around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Trinh worked at Columbia\u2019s hospital and associated clinic for 20 years before joining Raffles Medical in 2019. During that time, he was able to serve many outpatients and practice a wide range of medical care\u2014such as treating many patients with hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hypercholesterolemia, thyroid diseases, gastrointestinal diseases and so on. He performed annual health checks for many clients, helping them to recognise and control \u201crisk factors\u201d for diseases to prevent complications, and offering vaccination consultation. He most often treated cases of hepatitis B and C because of the huge prevalence of this disease in Vietnam. He is often moved by the respect and kindness of his patients, which strongly motivates him to make his best efforts for their healthcare .<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
