COVID-19 VACCINATION CAMPAIGN AND COVID-19 PREPAREDNESS SUPPORT FOR THE JAPANESE COMMUNITY IN VIETNAM
Raffles Medical is proud to be one of the nominated medical providers in Hanoi to provide COVID-19 preparedness support and vaccination services for Japanese nationals living in Hanoi. The Japanese government and the Japanese Embassy in collaboration with the Japanese Chambers of Commerce (JCCI) will be sponsoring Astra Zeneca COVID-19 vaccinations to support Japanese residents living in Hanoi.
Eligible Japanese nationals including immediate family members (spouses or those who have marriage agreements and children older than 18 years of age) who are currently residing in Hanoi are entitled to register their interests with Raffles Medical Clinic or another nominated medical facility to receive their vaccinations. For those Japanese nationals living in HCMC, vaccinations will be provided by the 175 Military Hospital. Raffles Medical welcomes pre and post vaccinations tele-consults.
Prior to providing the vaccination services, Raffles Medical will host a webinar on COVID-19 featuring Dr. Toshihiko, Internal Medicine Specialist, to present on status of current community transmissions; the importance of vaccinations to reach herd immunity; vaccinations candidate suitability; and health safeguarding tips pre and post vaccinations. The webinar will be offered in three available time options (for more information, please visit: https://lnkd.in/gCt4sz9k).
Raffles Medical Clinic in Hanoi will provide vaccination services in the third week of September during clinic hours from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (Monday to Saturday). Tentative vaccination start date is scheduled mid Sept. 2021 — the first doses of vaccinations should be completed by Sept. 28th, 2021; the second doses will be administered 8 weeks after the first doses. For those who have already had their first dose can register for their second dose at Raffles Medical Clinic.
